Which Food and WHY

What foods do you feed your koi, do they have a preference or do you just give them whatever is the best value ?

Iv'e always used the Nutrikoi range since it was first brought out but for some reason they are turning their noses up at it, so I put some paste food in and they soon munched it all up.

So looking for another food to try them with for a while.

I alternate between Yamitsu Grow and Show

and Yamota Nishiki.

Both seem good without a lot of waste and not bad priced at £5 kilo

Yes have always got a little film on the surface when the food goes in, it does not cause a problem in my pond. Are you having problems with it ?

It has been like it ever since I started using it, it also goes right through the range, have recently tried growth and silk now going back to performance.
