Has the snow started to go?

How did everyone go on with the snow:

    Any koi casualties?

    Car bumps?

    Bursts?

I really hope that that is it and a bit of heat back in my unheated pond!

Not had any casualties from the arctic weather we have had, although for the first time ever my koi/pond has been unheated and they are not happy, roll on spring/summer to get the temps up.

Glad to see the back of the snow, I dont remember a time when we have had such a long spell (5 weeks) constant.

So your boiler never got fixed then Chrissy?

Mine are the same...not happy at all.

Had a bit of action yesterday when it rained.

Well all the snow, nearly gone now,

Actually sold some koi yesterday to someone that was heated.

Just drizzle here this weekend, day time temps is around 8 degrees. Noticed My KOi were on the move today and are up to 6.5 degrees. This is My first year of an unheated pond, in the cold snap they went down to 3 degrees. I have to admit I nearly fitted My heater to the system. I will be fitting it before spring so I bring temps up fast and keep the stable as the spring starts to take hold.
