    Bingley Show

Post  valleykoi on Sat Aug 14, 2010 1:04 am

This is always an excellent show attended by thousands so last year I decided to book a pitch.

I was there the day before filling all the vats...when I found a tap(after requesting to be near one!)

4 Hours later 5 vats full and back to home.

The day of the show and I was up at 5 AM to bag up all the koi.I took about 100 koi, mainly 3-5in but about 6 14in.

Loads of lookers but not too many buyers. Many remarks saying they would look good with chips!

At the end of the day I sold about 20 small ones but the koi were a bit specialised for most.I would have been better taking 100 goldfish!

Back home and debagging and done for 10pm!

    Lesson to be learned!

Like you said maybe goldfish would have been better with nets to catch their own instead of Ducks lol

10 out of 10 for trying and putting in the work.
