    Hi Dave,

As your pond is cloudy with the replenish I would chuck the clay in as well. Hows the pH level ?

    Hi Chrissy
to be honest i havn't checked the ph since tuesday which was at 7.0. i will drop some clay in as well tommoro morning, the pond has started to clear all ready at 20.30 which i was supprised at with the milkyness of the water this morning at 7.30am.
will keep you posted on how the water is doing.

Thats great that it is clearing already I would put the clay in as soon as then you will have a clear pond in 48 hrs.

I can not understand how your pH is so low as I checked the tap water this week and it is coming in at 7.6 with the replenish as well my pond is reading 8.0 now, never seen it so high ever. So was surprised to hear yours was only 7.0.

to be honest Chrissy i dont trust the kusuri kits only had them 6 months. ime going to order some ph tests for my hanna c203 meter this will give me at true reading. will definetly be adding the clay straight away though, cant wait to see the results.

I wouldnt worry about the pH especially with the replenish and clay, will be interesting to see the readings though with the new hanna. Sure you will be pleased with the water quality when it clears, you koi will love it.
