Yeah I have got the heating back on to my pond after months of it cutting out and being a pain. Slowly raising the temperature now at 8.5c and the koi are starting to become active again. bounce

Yes I could not watch them suffer this cold winter any longer so got an OFTEC engineer out at a cost to get it going again.

You are welcome to call and see my pond anytime.

Yes this has been the first winter without any heat for all my koi and after seeing them sat on the bottom day after day I will continue to heat the pond, it is good to see them active again.

Is your pond covered at all Peter ?

Not covered and Bakki banging into the pond and waterfall doing the same.

Need to rethink before next year.

Electric bills too high and hate to see the koi sulking on the bottom.

Thats one of the down sides with bakki showers in the winter time especially with the harsh winter we have had this year. A boiler in your garage would be good, keep the holding tanks warm as well.
