The Weather!!!!!!!!!

Are we all getting just a tad sick of this weather.

Reading other forum and some still have their covers on!

Had a drive round a few local dealers last week and the selection of koi is pretty poor compared with previous years.
It seems the recession is still with us.
QSS in Bradford are not opening their back koi ponds this year and have about 200 Malasian babies and thats it!

Went to another well known dealers to buy a box of mixed tosai
and came away empty handed.Waste of £40 in petrol.I have seen better British koi than those!

I think the biggest concern for most people at the moment is the economical climate which is hitting the dealers, if they dont have the fish then they dont get the customers Catch 22. Lol Certainly an opening for a koi dealer in this area !

Oh the weather is up and down a bit like the flights lol my son is stuck due to new ash cloud lol

Well I am sure the weather knows when I am off!

Sunday and rain again.

Still got to clean all the filters and a bit of water changing.

Gardening...this weather sure makes the weeds grow.!!

Having to change water and clean filters a lot lately.

I am working away from home at the moment, and only home weekends, so My koi are mad for food when I go out to the pond, Wife and girls are feeding and keeping an eye on them, but I dont think they put the same size handfuls in I do.

Yeap down near Stonehenge at the moment. Its a pond upgrade, Pond was built a few years back,not very well no drain,no skimmer, no returns, liner, terrible filtration, the list goes on.
So I am extending pond to 4000 gallons, as it stands its 2800. Cut a bottom drain into concrete floor, increase the external height of pond by 300mm and fit skimmer and 2 returns, I have also extended the pond by 1500mm and fitted a nice large window, going to be fiber glassed and a new filter setup. Aquadyne 2.2 sieve in front. Skimmer we are still undecided at the moment. I am also building a good size planter and small water feature at the rear of the pond.
Going to be a cracking pond when done. If I knew how to upload pics I would, built some stunning stuff this year, I must update My site.

Back home, and You are dead right mate, found a pub with a big screen and screamed My heart out. Scrapy in places but a wins a win Here we go, bring on Germany and to be honest it is My prefered game instead of Ghana, I kind of think the boys will be more switched on. Roll on sunday
