    Hi Guys
    long time no hear Laughing
well my journey out of the koi hobby has started and already sold some fish off. Sad
Now I need some urgent advice - I have a buyer for absolutely everything, filters, pumps and all fish. The problem is that he is currently having a new pond built and wants all this for it. I have the situation in that I can't give him the filters until the fish have gone and I can't give him the fish until he has the filter on his new pond...is there a way forward with this or should i call the deal off?

    Hello and welcome back!

    A tricky one!

If you bought a swimming pool, you could put the fish into that and could you use your filter in a pump fed situation? Get rid of everything else and transfer the fish and filter over at the last minute together?

The pools are about £40 at Argos etc.

How many koi and how big?

    Hi stranger lol

It is only the same as someone moving house the filters and fish stay together they are supporting each other. So when his pond is ready and can hold water then both the filter and fish go all in one move. Presumably all the planning has been done prior inlets and outlets match the filter dimmensions, planning the move is the key. simples Laughing

that is what frustrated me so much and it is such a shame because this site has so much potential to be better than anything out there...i.e., no snobbery and being friendly
