Using clay in a pond is said to be beneficial to the enviroment of a pond and the koi, re-mineralising the water.

Do you use clay and which one ?

I clay sporadically during the winter and early spring but after that there is little point for me as I run a Tornado protein skimmer so it will just strip it from the water - However, I do store my summer pellets in it and when I use paste foods usually add to that. I use Richdon clay but I am looking at giving the new one a bash this year which is Koi Masters Advantage

I have been using the koi master advantage for a few weeks now but I am still using clay as well. Apparantly the master/replenish does not have any clay in it so I have opted to still use the clay to mineralise the water.
