Parasite Watch......

With the pond temperatures starting to rise in the unheated ponds, is everyone keeping an eye on their koi to watch for signs of parasites, clamped fins, flicking, sulking in a corner, not eating the list goes on.

The parasites seem to wake up quicker than the filter bacteria. Been to several ponds this week all with parasite problems. Keep your eyes open and treat sooner rather than later when the damage is done and ulcers start appearing.
