Chillean Prawns

Not sure if i have spelt it correctly but when i was in the wet fish shop (buying my salmon) he told me that he could get me some Chillean prawns to feed to the koi. At least i think that's wot he said. lol He said that they love them and they are a bit cheaper than normal ones.

Any one heard of them?

Well, I rang the fishmonger today and asked him about his chillean prawns and he was baffled!!!

He didnt have a clue wot i was on about.

Shell-On-Prawns


They are a smaller version and cheaper than normal ones!!! LMAO...

They do come FROZEN and are for human consumption and need the heads and shells removing first, unless i should leave them on for the Koi to do? Wont there be calcium in the shells?

Well mystery over, he's gonna drop me some off on his way home for the fish to try.

No Dee i think its just cheaper to but them shelled and you do it yourself!

LOL LOL. He actually forgot to drop me some off last nite and arrived with them tonight. He gave me a big bag for nothing which is even better!!! They look a good size too, so sod the Koi, Mark's getting prawn cocktail for starters tomorrow!!!

Only joking, i will save some for the koi honest!!
