Spawning problems

Hi its me Pondy

I have a large Miatoya Showa in my pond thats heavily preggers, i've done water changes,put the spawning brushes in, kept my temps current at 22 degrees and there's males all around her, but she still does'nt wanna let go of them. grrrr

has anyone else got any big girls that just dont want to let go of their eggs? ( and i dont mean Shazzer with her chickens eggs )

I think G was having some problems with one of his Pondy not sure how he is getting on now with it though!

Had a similar issue and still believe I have. The belly is swollen and soft,which ive been told is a sign of eggs within, but mine too hasnt let em go.
Ive removed the brushes as they were wrecking my clarity and dont as yet have a large qt to isolate with males so hoping she will just re-absorb the eggs.
Sadly this is a side of the hobby I dont have any experience with so hoping all goes well
