israel koi fish

just wondering when i tell people i have magnoy fish i get a roll of eyes or sharp intake of breath why is that? what is wrong with them? i know there is something about kfc but why?

There is alot of debate about on these forums regarding mixing israeli (Magnoy) koi with japanese koi due to Magnoy koi being vaccinated againt having KHV. I see you have both types of koi, how long have you had them and are they in the same pond together.
