Koi Masters Advantage

I have read some very good reports on this pond additive that it helps to maintain the pH and kH levels along with clearing the pond of waste build up. I have previously used izeki super C and magic powder to good effect.

Has anyone used this yet and where did you purchase it from I am now ready to try it ?

bought mine from Richdon - it is marketed under the name of Replenish
I have completed my first dose today at 4.30pm - pond looks as if it is full of milk
I will post my findings as I go on - speaking via email with the creators it was created to combat low KH - as mine is only 2 out of the tap I will keep an eye on this and see if there are improvements - judging by the feedback on all forums this is pretty hot stuff - and knowing how careful Richdon are about putting their name to products must speak volumes

24 hours on - milky appearance still present but clearing product still in suspension

Brilliant that has certainly made a difference to you pH & kH readings, does what it says on the tub LOL

I am really impressed even if this is the only positive effect - but going on other feedback there are a lot more positives to come....I can't wait!

48 hours in KH remains stable pH 7.5
product still in suspension but clearing can see 2 foot down albeit slightly hazy

Wow that has come back up very quickly are you concerned at all as to whether it will drop back down as quick

it has crossed my mind...I will continue to monitor on a daily basis and see what happens...I've yet to see any adverse reports on it

72 hours all parameters remain constant , product remains in suspension but clearing quickly

I wonder if it is like when you first put a dose of clay into the system and it stays cloudy for a while, then the next dose you do it clears quicker than the first.

I have ordered some of this now so looking forward to finding out for myself and hopefully saving some pennies as it means no more izeki super c and magic powder.

apparently this is common with the first dose and does clear quickly on subsequent doses

96 hours in - pH and KH remain stable
Product is nearly out of suspension just a little murky in the bottom few inches
Appears to be a difference to the look of the water (sparkle) but maybe my imagination lol

Looking good and a bonus if the water has that sparkle to it especially on an outdoor pond. Can't wait to get some in and see for myself now that spring is here. LOL

An interesting note - we have had heavy rain at times today - completed tests pH 7.5, KH dropped back to 2 !
don't know whether it was the rain or what - I've not fed for a few days

I would imagine with the surface area of your pond and the amount of rain actually adding to your volume is minimal. If it was the rain then the pH would have also dropped, I use to measure the ph or rain water (I know I am sad)lol....I found it to only have an average value of 5.5 pH. The more likely reason for the drop in kH is the buffer in the replenish has been used up or exhausted, hence the drop in kH but not as yet the pH.

first of the weekly doses going in tomorrow
noticed a difference in the koi today - sumi is appearing a lot darker - or am I wishing it ?? lol

Thats a good sign if the sumi is showing benefits already, I have put my first dose in today so we can compare notes now. LOL

gives that nice milky sheen to the water doesn't it lol
